Dr. Martin teaches undergraduate statistics and research methods targeted toward psychology students. Although these are her primary teaching focus, she is also interested in teaching developmental psychology with innovative active learning and experiential education approaches.
Dr. Martin’s primary research interest is to better understand the impact of innovative teaching methods on undergraduate students’ learning experience, engagement in the classroom, and academic performance. In particular she is interested in how experiential education and active learning approaches affect student outcomes. A secondary interest involves examining the factors influencing job satisfaction, employee engagement, and performance outcomes in the workplace.
